Child safety standards
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These standards apply to Smatch, listed on Google Play as "Smatch : partenaire de sport", and to all content and conduct on the service.
Adults only
Smatch is exclusively for people aged 18 or older. People under 18 may not create an account or use the service. Report any account you believe belongs to a minor through the in-app reporting mechanism or our child safety contact. When a stored date of birth shows that a user is under 18, Smatch blocks access at app launch, hides the account from other members in discovery, partner boards, the forum, stories, events and notifications, and stops sending notifications to the user. The user can delete the account in the app from the block screen. The user or a parent or guardian can also request deletion at support@smatchsports.com. Smatch deletes the account and its information on request.
Prohibition of child sexual abuse and exploitation
Smatch prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexualization of children, sextortion, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and any content or conduct that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers anyone under 18.
Creating, uploading, storing, viewing, requesting, or sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is prohibited. This prohibition includes photos, videos, and computer-generated material depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
Report a concern in the app
Open the options menu on a user's profile or in your conversation with them. Select "Report", describe the concern in the reason field, then select "Confirm" to submit it to Smatch without leaving the app. Use this mechanism to report suspected CSAE, CSAM, or an underage account.
You can also select "Block" from the same menu to stop seeing and contacting each other. Blocking alone does not send a report. Submit a report as well if there is a safety concern.
Provide the account name and a description of where the concern occurred. Do not download, copy, or forward suspected CSAM, including by email. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.
How Smatch addresses reports and CSAM
Smatch reviews child safety reports and takes action under these standards and applicable law. When Smatch becomes aware of CSAM on the service, it removes the material or disables access to it. Smatch bans accounts responsible for CSAE or CSAM and takes steps to prevent further abuse.
Smatch reports confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant national or regional authority, as required by applicable law. Smatch cooperates with lawful requests from authorities and preserves information when legally required.
Compliance with child safety laws
Smatch complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including obligations to remove prohibited material and report confirmed CSAM to the competent authorities. These standards apply even though the service is restricted to adults.
