Whether you're looking for a tennis partner, a running buddy, or someone to join your cycling group, Smatch makes it easy to connect with like-minded sports enthusiasts in your city.
Is Smatch free to use?
You can download Smatch, create your profile and browse profiles for free. You get 10 Smatch requests per day, excluding bonuses. Premium raises this limit to 100 requests per day. It also includes advanced filters, 1 Super Smatch per day and access to all profile photos. The app or store shows offers and prices before you buy.
What sports are available on Smatch?
Smatch supports over 80 sports including tennis, padel, badminton, running, cycling, swimming, football, basketball, volleyball, yoga, climbing, skiing, surfing, martial arts, dance, and many more. You can add multiple sports to your profile with different skill levels for each.
How do I find sports partners near me?
Create your profile with your city, sports and level. Browse profiles nearby and send a Smatch request. If the person accepts, you can chat to arrange a time and place to meet. For a paid court, book directly with the venue.
Is Smatch available in my city?
Yes, even if your city is not listed on the website. Set your location in the app to see profiles near you. The number of members varies by area.
How does the matching algorithm work?
Smatch uses a smart algorithm that considers multiple factors: your sports preferences, skill level, location, and availability. The algorithm prioritizes showing you partners who match your skill level and are geographically close to you, making it more likely you'll find compatible partners for regular sessions.
Can I use Smatch for dating?
Smatch helps you find sports partners. You may also become friends or find a romantic connection, depending on what each person wants.
Is my data safe on Smatch?
Yes, we take data privacy very seriously. Smatch complies with GDPR and Swiss data protection laws. We use encryption for sensitive data, never share your personal information with third parties without consent, and give you full control over your data. How do I report a user or inappropriate behavior?
You can report any user directly from their profile by tapping the report button. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action. You can also block users to prevent them from contacting you.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account at any time in the app. On your phone, open https://app.smatchsports.com/links/t/delete-account to go straight to account deletion. You can also go to Account > Preferences and tap "Delete my account" at the bottom of the page. All your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days as required by GDPR. If you'd like to share what made you decide to leave Smatch, your feedback would help us improve the app.
